After walking home from work on November 6, I experienced one of those rare moments when the light is perfect, the weather has cleared up, and there’s an interesting contrast between the seasons. We get this a lot in Salt Lake City. A lot of people say that the weather here is schizophrenic, or can’t make up it’s mind. Sometimes it doesn’t really matter, especially when you can get shots like this: Cool old house, and snow

Flowers and snow

Leaves and snow

Not the best photography, I’m aware, but with my limited knowledge of the art, and a simple point-and-shoot, I’m pretty happy with the results!

(By the way, I use the Canon SD1000 for all of my shots, because it’s the only camera I have!)
